Let's see.....I'm 39 years old. I have lived in Alabama most of my life. Took a three year detour in Florida and a three month detour in Georgia. My favorite groups/singers are Newsboys, dcTalk, Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Todd Agnew, and Chris Tomlin. I've attended church all of my life but have only been saved for 18 years. My interests include camping, hiking (although I haven't done much), reading, writing poetry, and traveling.

I grew up in church because my dad is a pastor. At the age of 8 (1977) I was baptized, but 10 years later I began to sense that I wasn't truly saved. I came up with any reason to justify that I was saved, but never could find any peace about it. In 1990, I finally gave up trying to make excuses and I gave my life to Christ. I realized that the first time was a false conversion because I only walked the aisle because my friends did, not because there was any conviction by the Holy Spirit of my sins. I believe that people are saved not because they decide to be, but because the Holy Spirit draws them to the Father and gives them faith in Christ when they surrender to Him. I've grown alot in my faith and relationship with Christ in the past year due to people I've met online who have challenged me to learn and grow, not just be complacent and become stagnant.
People who are fun, have weird sense of humor, who are grounded in their faith, who enjoy studying the Bible and early church history, who enjoy getting knowledge and like learning.
