"A guitar-driven Christian Rock band out of the Houston area."
Band Website: http://www.certainvictory.net
Certain Victory is a Rock quartet made up of Greg Frank (bass), Skip Hayes (drums), Benji Leal (vocals), and Paul Lytle (guitar). We've been rehearsing and composing for nearly a year now, and we should start hitting the stage in February. None of us were really looking for a band except that God brought us together and told us to play. We love the Lord and some good Rock 'n' Roll, so the combination is really cool. Hope to see you soon!
We are in the process of recording some new stuff, so we'll upload a few songs as soon as they are ready. If you want to hear some demos and such, head over to http://www.certainvictory.net. Hope to see you soon!

The band members all come from different places and have been brought to the Lord in different ways. It would take way too long to list all of our testimonies, so check out http://www.certainvictory.net to see those.
As for the band, Paul was looking for some direction in his life and was praying for an opportunity to reach people. God's response was to form a band, which was not something Paul wanted to do. But God has a talent for getting His way, so Paul started writing some songs. He intended to lead the band himself, to sing and play lead guitar with one or two other guitarists in the lineup besides a bass and drums. God had a different plan, and delivered Benji, who has a distinguised career as a vocalist, to be the front man. Skip and Greg came soon thereafter. Skip in particular was not even looking for a band, but the Spirit led both to Paul. Then God told us that we didn't need another guitarist after a long search for one, and we officially became a quartet. Even before playing live, this community has been very worthwhile to us. We have grown together and worshiped together. Now we want to take that love for God to others.
People who love to listen to some good ol' Rock 'n' Roll. If you are open to feeling the Spirit in a guitar solo as much as a melodic chorus, then you are our type of people.
