Preaching God's Word is my passion. I have been teaching Homiletics (preaching) for nearly three decades. It is a trip to meet former students who are preaching all around the country and in various parts of the world.
My preaching thrill comes no matter if I'm bringing God's Word to a small group of key Christian leaders or 60,000 hollering men at a Promise Keepers stadium event. It's all a matter of speaking as a service to the Lord that I love so much.
I was blessed to be on the speaking team at Mayday for Marriage. 200,000 gathered on the Washington DC mall to proclaim our faith in God's blueprint for marriage. When Promise Keepers gathered 1.4 million men in our nation's capital for a sacred assembly, I was also tapped to preach on that amazing stage.
The preaching opportunities never stop. Some are small venues, others are big but the most important feature is that the Lord shows up with His Spirit to do His work in the lives of those who respond in faith.
My prayer is that as I write more and more that He will take the written word of ministry and impact the lives of many people for HIS Kindgom as well.

I have been blessed with a Timothy testimony. My Grandmother was a fervent follower of Christ. She brought me to a church that was very faithful in presenting the Gospel. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the very young age of 8 years old. It was during the invitation at the end of a Sunday morning service.
One thing that grew into my faith is the importance of discipleship. When I look at my obligations, there are many moments when I am pouring my life into the lives of those who will make a difference for Christ. For me it is a matter of a ministry of multiplication. Influencing lives for Christ who will in turn touch many lives that I will never meet is a deeply rooted passion in me.
Today I have the privilege to lead a wonderful seminary that is young but growing. The pressures on my plate are greater than I have ever experienced in my walk with the Lord. Yet, I see Him every day lead, provide and protect. The loves of my life give me reason to keep at my task. I am blessed to love and be loved by very special people.
