I am a 34 year old father, husband, and christian striving to obey the Lord. I have a 3 and a half year old son and another child on the way, due in November. I am a very involved and hands on dad, I also am in my church choir(P/33) in the bass section and a member of my church praise team. My favorite music is TobyMac and a mix of styles, I am originally from Nashville so country is also something I like. I am a Promise Keeper and have a Wednesday Men's group that meet on Wed. morning, all of us striving to be Godly men to our kids , wives and community.

I was saved as a teenager at 14, I made it through high school ok but once I graduated(1990) and went off to college I went wild and lost sight of God. I partied for the next 6 years drinking, smoking(cigs and that other stuff) and anything else I could find to get into. At 21 I ended up in the hospital with my blood sugar level in the 900's. (diabetic since I was 5) I had missed 3 day's worth of Insulin shots because I was partying and didn't care. While I was in there the Dr's said it was a miracle that I wasn't in a comma. Now I was out of it but I remember hearing a voice telling me I was going to get another chance but it was time to change my life and follow Him. As soon as I got out of the hospital I moved out of my apartment that I shared with 4 or 5 other guys and back in with the folks. I started back to church and after a while I began working with the youth as a counselor and it is there where I found what God wanted me to do with all of the bad experiences I had been through. I was able to get on the same level of those teens because I had lived all of the things they were facing and could help them see the right path through the eyes of someone who had been there. I worked with these kids for about 6 years and then God called me to do something else...............get married and move from Nashville to Chicago where we tried to hear his call there and all we could hear is be a witness to those you work with, so that is what we did. After 2 years of that we were called to my wife's home town of Jackson, MS where we now live, work, worship, minister and are raising a family. I am a member of P/33(choir) and a part of the Praise Team at Colonial Heights my wife is part of FAITH where they go and minister (in those peoples homes) to those who have visited the church saved and unsaved.
