Louisiana-native and journalism student at the University of Texas at Austin, 21-year old Ashlynn Walker began singing and writing original songs at age 11.
Throughout high school Ashlynn sang at talent shows, performed in church plays, and became heavily involved in her high school varsity theatre program. She began learning guitar at age 17 and started leading praise and worship for a college ministry her freshman year at UT. In September 2006 she recorded her first demo.
As an aspiring music artist with a heart for worship, Ashlynn's primary goals are to be a positive force in today's youth culture, and to share her unique life experiences through music that is real and relatable.
