""i am not....but I know I am""

This is my desire, this is my return, to be used by You...
--Jeremy Camp

There's a reason I'm alive for a blink of an eye....
...Mercy Me

It is my sincere desire that from this day forward, my life will both glorify my Lord and those that I love so dearly. I feel that I have neglected both for much too long. My addiction to self has gotten in the way of the love I should have been giving freely to everyone else. Most of all, it has prevented me from having a deep and meaningful relationship with my Saviour Jesus Christ. My heart cries out for forgiveness and for the courage to allow Him to use me anyway that He will.
I feel that this "rebirth" is the result of God's Spirit presenting itself persistently and lovingly in my life. Mary(my wonderful Christian wife), my two awesome Christian sons; Ryan & Troy, my daughter-in-love Lori, my loving church family (especially the Howell family), my Mom & Dad & brothers and sisters and their families, the Bible, RBC's Day of Discovery series, Steel Roots TV, Rick Warren's A Purpose Driven Life, Oswald Chamber's study of Job, Max Lucado's inspirational writings, Donald Miller's Searching For God Knows What & Blue Like Jazz, Louie Giglio's books: i am not, but I know I am & The Air I Breathe, the music of Jeremy Camp, Tree 63, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Todd Agnew, Bethany Dillon, Mercy Me, Sarah Groves, Casting Crowns, Jars of Clay, Nicole Nordeman, Third Day, Shane & Shane, Charlie Hall, Sonicflood, Michael W Smith, Amy Grant. The enthusiastic and passionate witnessing experienced at multiple Christian music concerts over the last year. Jeremy Camp's moving and emotional story of tragic loss, steadfast faith and personal restoration have all been awesome signs that are too far over-the-top to be just mere coincidences. Thank you Lord for your patience and persistence in my unworthy life! May your deep and abiding blessings and eternal love be upon all of those who have been instrumental in showing your prodigal son the road home. May I use the remainder of my days here to serve and love others as You have so faithfully served and loved me. May our Lifesongs sing a new song to You!
