Andromeda Risings: What once started as a band now, by God's decision, has been reduced to a solo project. I am Jacob, the founder of Andromeda Risings.
So, I'm sure you're wondering "Andromeda Risings? What a colorful name! Where does it come from?" In all honesty, it started as me thinking galaxy names were cool so I wanted Andromeda. Then I made the picture you see on display and God spoke to me (at least, that's what I think). "The moon rises on the spinning Andromeda, the glory of God has been revealed". Proof that God shapes things into something better.
My mission for my music is to entertain, maybe make you laugh a bit, but to also bring some really important issues to the table. And not the "issues" that other bands and artists say they hit. Homosexuality, cutting, masochism, discrimination, etc.
I also want to convey a message of hope to everyone and to just write songs that can our peers can relate to or our superiors can remember of fondly. I believe God has given me a special talent and gift for music and I plan t use it to help those in need but most importantly, to bring honor, love, and glory to God, the only one who truly saves.
