Anchor28 (A28) was officially formed the better part of a year ago. The band started after the conclusion that each member felt God had placed a calling of ministry over their lives. A28 just recently finished recording its 5 track EP, "Extraordinary Love" (more on that in the near future). It is the bands goal to follow Christ and pursue him more passionately. "We want to live lives of integrity and humbleness. We hope to bring a message of hope, redemption, and sense of purpose to all that we meet", says frontman Caleb Carpenter. Accompanied by Brandon Williams(Bass) and Andrew Boyd(Drums), Anchor28 encourages their listeners to stand strong in a world that is ever changing. Their song "Eviction" portrays how addiction and regret can sometimes rule our lives and keep us chained in grief and depression. " Eviction is basically a song about breaking free from the bondage of sin. It starts where Jesus comes in and illuminates all aspects of our life, chasing out addiction and regret.
