psalterbook's sound is an eclectic fusion of contemporary, folk, bluegrass, celtic, and classical styles. Now a five-song Top Finalist of the UNISONG International Songwriting Competition (2005/2006 and 2006/2007), psalterbook's new take on contemporary christian music is receiving critical acclaim from around the world. The sonic richness of their music utilizes everything from "bluegrass-ified" 16th century chant, to appalachian lullabies; from richly-textured lyricism, to hair-raising virtuoso instrumentals. But most important of all, their music is meant to express psalterbook's unique musical vision: no matter what century it's from or what style it incorporates, music that praises the triune God is valuable...from age to age.
