I am a Freshman in college @ SSU. I have been serving christ since i was very young and i wouldn't trade my relationship with christ for anything. I love music and its a huge part of who i am, i write music, sing, and play music on various instruments. I play the keys & sing @ Life Impact Church, i am the only girl in the actual band and i love it. I have always just been hooked on music and the things of God and thats pretty much me, everything else about me comes from those two things. Anyone who truely knows me will tell you if im not singing about the Lord there is probably something wrong. I also love the youth currently im not working in the youth ministry other than outside events where i go and sing or speak. Being apart of the band for my church is a full time ministry in itself but when the oppertunity arises to go out and minister to the youth if i can i jump right on it cause i really love being able to take what God has given me and share it with others. Exspecially kids who are comming up in what i have just had to walk through.

The Lord saved me at the age of 4. I mean radically saved me, and i have never been the same. To be honest though i have seen alot of things i wish i hadn't but they have made me the young woman i am today. My parents divorced when i was 2 years old before that time alot of crazy things going on, due to the fact of alcohol being what my dad used to get away from responsibilites. I saw how much pain it put my mother through dealing with all of this and not having a father figure around wasnt an easy thing for me many nights lying awake crying untill i couldnt cry anymore. Then i made the decision that i was no longer going to let the past hurts run my life. For so long it had caused me to turn away from what i knew God was calling me to do. So i made up my mind and i got over my fear and started singing, much to my amazment people loved to hear me sing and i began getting calls to sing different places. I then got appointed as the Youth Choir & Praise team director, from there God gave me a vision for young people, so i started a group called Divine Destiny its a various group of kids everytime we go out and sing but they know a man named Jesus Christ who loves them and because of him they have a Divine Destination called heaven to look forward to by being a sold out child of God. It amazes me what God is doing in my life right now and i am expecting so much more.

People who are down with Jesus Christ! Everyone has their own style of music but when you are connected with the man who created us all we can come together and just praise him together inspite of every diversity there may be. I Just love people who are real and who Love the Lord!
