Ever had a venti decaf iced caramel macchiato? With raspberry syrup? If you can appreciate that blend of flavors (or something akin to it) then you may be a friend and fan of Natalie Nicole's.

Music: With smooth undertones of acoustic jazz and R & B and other times a rocker chick persona, the intersection of sounds mesh to something that lets you enjoy multiple genres without swapping CDs. On occasion, you can catch the individual evidence of her family heritage - including a concert pianist and church accompanist (mother), a pop operatic sister, a heavy metal guitarist and vocalist (brother) and a father with engineering in his blood. Pull that together to construct a girl whose day job is DJing and audio production and whose night and weekend gig is song composition and session singing.

Writing: Natalie Nicole is naturally most known for her songwriting and collaborations, but also pens poetry, screenplays, articles and short stories. Her published works include articles in CRW, short stories published by Broadman and Holman and contributions to numerous e-magazines.

Instrumentation: Gilbert was a closet pianist through her youth, slipping off to play privately when the sunday sermon was uninteresting to her young ears, but finally began playing publicly in her teens at the urging of a voice teacher. The guitar was also picked up about that time but remains a tool she uses primarily in private concerts or secluded songwriting sessions. She has also mastered the kazoo.

Visual Art: Though a late blossoming artist, picking up a paintbrush in high school and college, Natalie Nicole also uses painting, sketching, photography and graphic design to artistically communicate. Her work is included in most of her CD's graphics (the Trilogy set, for instance) but otherwise is used for various organizations, such as Mosaic, where public painting is included as part of the worship experience.

Performing: Yeah, there's more to performing than singing, playing instruments and painting. There's also dance, acting and ice skating for instance, and our Jane of many trades naturally does all of the above. Natalie Nicole's stage and screen performances have won her honors from the Modeling Association of America, Teen Magazine and the WB.

DJing: We won't tell you how long she's been in radio, but suffice it to say Natalie Nicole has worked for CCM, Oldies, Lite and News formats in 3 different states, at last count. She's also the Music Director at her current station, KDAR in California...a state she complains has far too little rain and snow.

Teaching: Natalie Nicole also teaches acting, voiceover and performing techniques and enjoys giving full day seminars. She also hosts numerous online niche groups (Audio/Video Studios, Songwriters and Performers, Actor's Resource, Christians in Media and Entertainment, etc. - links below) that cater to informing other artists about industry trends.
