"LIGHTSHIP MINISTRIES: "Vessels of Light for Christ" ; Reformed Evangelical Church Outreach"
I am a Christian Chaplain, a Disabled American Veteran (Army) and a former Marine Engineer (20 years), that started his trade in the US Coast Guard.
I also worked aboard the Lightship Chesapeake while volunteering in Ministry when I was about 25 years old in the City of Baltimore.
On my twenty years in the Army and just days after my Ordination into ministry, I would nearly die in water survival training.
This launched me into starting Lightship Ministries to be a "Vessel of Light for Christ" to a lost and dark world.
I have always had the gift of evangelism, and decided at 46 to start using it, provided I would be allowed to live.. so here I am Lord use me!
LIGHTSHIP MINISTRIES; Chaplain and DAV (Army) explains to others how to listen in faith to proclaim the power of Jesus Christ in a true Christians life... "Vessels of Light for Christ" is our mission and our slogan.
Questions will be answered as my time permitts, Respectfully Lightship Chaplain

I will only list the most outstanding and colorful testimonies as they have been continual for sometime...
I Came to Christ as a teen, experienced many unusual experiences. Used as a tool in bringing others to Christ, specifically while on military duty. Learned about Spiritual Maturity as a volunteer in street ministry. In fact I learned more realities there than in all my years of academia within the Church.
Finally met my wife to be, and heard the Lord like never before in my life!
It scared me some, and many ministers as well. I should not have shared my experiences with them, but I "thought" they were spiritual authorities...
A year after my marriage the Lord gave me a Technicolor vision of a, heart of grass?!
The next morning on my car radio, Alistair Beg spoke about his father as a shepherd in Scotland. He explained that the word Pastor came from the word pasture, and it is God and not men who gives a man a "PASTORS HEART" (like in my vision).
The 'church' never accepted me as this, after returning home from the Army in 2004 ;( even though I had been trained as a leader)!
So I continued to run from the Lord, and this odd call he had on my life. Then I would be stopped in my tracks as my heart continued to stop during Army water survival training.
I could feel and see Christ lying next to me in shadow, shoulder to shoulder; even in death; he will never leave you or forsake you!
This all happened two days after my Ordination into the ministry, which we all laughed about as I was even awarded an (honorary D.D.) and was back in my old unit, on my twenty years in the military.
I could go on and on with details, but will stop by saying this is why I started my own ministry, to give testimony to others of the power of Jesus Christ in our lives.
To bad if the "big churches" will not allow me to speak on such things; I got something to say and plan on saying it.
Respectfully Submitted, Lightship Chaplain
