Joseph L. Seymour, who is affectionately known as "J.L.", has been involved in music minstry for about fifteen years. For twelve of those years he was extremely active in the local gospel scene, as a musician, choir director, songwriter and producer. Joseph was the founder and director of the highly anointed and innovative musical ensemble known as "J.L. Seymour and Radical Praise", a choir known for their high energy praise, passionate worship and intricate vocal arrangements. During these years of non-traditonal ministry Joseph developed an unquenchable passion for the manifest prescence of God.About three years ago, however, He acknowledged an undeniable call to aother dimension of music ministry. The focus of his musical expression would no longer be "black gospel music" but universal praise and worship. So Joseph purchased an acoustic guitar, taught himself a few basic chords and progressions, and began writing songs birthed out of an intense thirst for God's prescence. These songs are the first of many to come. It is his desire that they will usher you into the prescence of the Lover of your soul. Grace and Peace!
