Gospel Music Channel (GMC) today unveiled Listen Up, a new multi-platform promotional campaign featuring new and emerging Gospel/Christian recording artists who are on the verge of becoming break-out stars. The nation's first and only 24/7 all-Gospel/Christian music television network also announced Flicker Records' rock band Fireflight, out of Orlando, FL, as the first artist to be recognized under Listen Up.

GMC's Listen Up -- mirrored after successful programs such as VH1's "You Oughta Know" and MTV's "Buzzworthy" - will be an on-going campaign, with a new artist highlighted monthly. Artists selected for Listen Up will be showcased extensively across the network's television and on-line platforms, as well as at key industry and network events.

The multi-platform strategy will give the Gospel/Christian music fans 360 degrees of access to the Listen Up artists. Selected artists will be featured in a customized promotion spot which will run in high rotation throughout the month on GMC. They will also have their music videos world premiered and/or showcased on Gospel Music Channel, and they will appear on the network's weekly series The Kitchen Sink. With a dedicated area on the network's revamped website -- www.gospelmusicchannel.com -- Listen Up artists and music will be featured in original interviews, exclusive performances and other promotions.

The Listen UP campaign will stay true to the network's "It's All Gospel" position, introducing and exposing new artists from a variety of Gospel/Christian music genres and styles. For the inaugural Listen Up, Gospel Music Channel will feature Fireflight, who debuted nationally with 2006's The Healing of Harms (Flicker), and who has spent years as tireless road warriors on the concert circuit. GMC will world premiere their music video "Unbreakable" -- which also serves as the title track for Fireflight's new album -- on March 29th. The group is scheduled for their own Front Row Live installment of GMC's nightly concert series.

(Nashville, Tenn.) February 19, 2008—Orlando-based rock band Fireflight has the No. 1 Christian rock song in the country for a third week with "Unbreakable," the first single and title track off the highly-anticipated sophomore album releasing March 4. The band's new hit climbs to the top spot after only seven weeks since its release to radio and remains No. 1 on both R&R's and CRW's Rock charts, while comingin as the most-added song of the week on R&R's CHR format at No. 14.

The band's current radio success adds to the buzz already created by the NBC network in November 2007, with "Unbreakable" selected as the anthemic promotional soundtrack for primetime TV show "Bionic Woman." This marks Fireflight's third career No. 1 song on the rock format.

Lead singer Dawn Richardson says, "I hope this song continues to inspire listeners at radio to overcome a defeated mentality and find power to remain strong amid the landscape, not allowing fear to hold us back from having victory over the things that used to control us."

Drummer Phee Shorb adds, "It's cool to have radio support so quickly, even before the album releases, and to know that fans believe in the song and are connecting with the message of Unbreakable."

Justin Cox, guitarist, notes, "We are so grateful to our fans and thank them for requesting the new song. 'Unbreakable' couldn't be No. 1 without our loyal fans!"

The chart-topping song is also being featured on the Gospel Music Channel cable network this month. The network recently covered the band's music video shoot for "Unbreakable" and is currently highlighting the making-of the brand new music video. The preview piece can be viewed at: www.gospelmusicchannel.com/videos/exclusive.

Fronted by female vocalist Dawn Richardson, Fireflight's music has been featured on E! Entertainment's "Style Network" and inmusic-video reels at both American Eagle and Journey's stores across the country. Fireflight averages 140 shows a year and previously delivered two No. 1 rock singles "You Decide" and "Waiting" off its 2006 debut album The Healing of Harms.

Band's Video is First to Use RED ONE Camera Technology in Nashville Shoot

NEWS SOURCE: Provident Label Group

January 28, 2008

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) January 28, 2008 - Orlando-based rock band Fireflight recently shot a high-intensity music video featuring car crashes, tragic characters and the band's commanding live performance of its current radio smash "Unbreakable." Shot inside a commercial steel warehouse by Ruckus Film in east Nashville, the "Unbreakable" video is the first in town to use the RED ONE camera technology. Having four times the resolution of a High Definition camera, RED ONE is being called Ultra High Definition. "Unbreakable" is the first single and title track off Fireflight's anticipated March 4 sophomore album release, and is currently ranked the No.3 song in the country on Christian Rock radio.

Fireflight's "Unbreakable" music video will premiere on various cable networks in February. The shoot was directed by Wes Edwards and produced by Brittany Hailes. The RED ONE camera has been used by Academy Award winning directors Steven Soderbergh ("Ocean's Eleven," "Traffic," "Solaris") and Peter Jackson ("Lord of the Rings," "King Kong").

"Fireflight is an incredible performer and the band gave 100% on each and every take," said director Wes Edwards. He adds, "The set was so fun and relaxed that it never felt like work. And on top of all that, the footage looks killer."

The band's new hit song has been creating tremendous momentum for the forthcoming album. In November 2007, "Unbreakable" was promptly selected by the NBC network as the anthemic soundtrack for the promo spots of primetime TV show "Bionic Woman." The spots aired during Nov. sweeps, and extended into the promotion of NBC's entire Wednesday night lineup.

Fronted by female vocalist Dawn Richardson, Fireflight's music has been featured on E! Entertainment's "Style Network" and in music-video reels at both American Eagle and Journey's stores across the country. Fireflight averages 140 shows a year, and has delivered two No. 1 rock singles "You Decide" and "Waiting" off its 2006 debut album.
