I am married and the mother of four. I'm usually shy until I get to know people pretty well. I love music, photography, singing, and reading. I also dabble in writing.

When I was a young child my dad was an alcoholic and my environment was far from Christian based. But when I was ten we had a house fire and some time that summer my parents decided to find a church. After that our home life totally changed. My parents became Christians and started serving in the church. My dad quit drinking and smoking too. He later became a pastor (when I was around 14). My environment changed for the better, but my heart didn't.; at ages 10 and 16 I "got saved", but only to please my dad.

It wasn't until I was 18 years old that I truly gave my heart to Christ. I was at a youth lock-in and my dad was preaching; I felt so convicted the entire time. I was supposed to sing a song in closing, but when it came time for that I told my dad I could because I needed to receive Christ into my heart.
So, that is the condensed version of my testimony.
