"The Beauty of Grace is that it makes life unfair. (Relient K)"

I love Christian music, all kinds, from soft praise and worship to hard rock. What matters most in music is that there is a message of hope a message of Jesus Christ and His love.
I bought my first Christian album when I was 14 years old, The Sweet Comfort Band, and I have been hooked on Christian music ever since. Christian music has come a long way since the 70's. I can remember defending it from other Christians that wouldn't listen to it because of the all around poor quality of the music that was found in the early days of CCM. Boy has things changed. I believe that as Christians we should be leaders in our world and above all else we should be excellent in everything we do, after all we are doing it for an audience of one.
I am happily married to my childhood sweetheart and we have four beautiful children.
We will celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2009.
I find these days that I enjoy Christian music even more and I love the interaction I get with my teens talking about the music and the songs and what they mean.

Testimony
At age 13 I was in turmoil as a young man wrestling with the problems in my family. I tried all kinds of things to make the hurt in my heart go away, but the pain wouldn’t leave. After a very hard summer of doing everything I could find to do from, drugs to breaking and entering, partying, sneaking out at night, running away…and finally one day it caught up with me. My neighbor who happened to be the pastor’s wife where my mom had been taking us to church saw me out one night, I even lied to her and told her it wasn’t me. I ended up sitting in front of my youth pastor, we had a very long talk about Jesus and God and His call upon my life. I knew I needed to make a decision to follow Christ but I was confused with life, I was hurt by the rejection I felt from my father. Following that conversation with my youth pastor I found myself in a daze, a cloud for three days, I was in turmoil as the Holy Spirit was working on my heart .I remember the third day I finally gave my life over to Jesus and told Him I was His and He could have me for His purposes. I remember a joy and love and a presence of God that was so powerful that it has kept me through all of the hard times in my life and there have been many. I have not always walked with God as close as I should over the years but He has kept me and has kept bringing me back to Him as I would sometimes stray.
Today I am so grateful for the decision I made all those years ago, I am so thankful to Jesus for giving me second chances on more than one occasion. I am now what you would call a stable Christian, who is a leader in the local church, all because of the power of Jesus Christ to change a life. If you are discouraged in life as a Christian don’t lose hope, Jesus can and will change your life if you continue following Him and are obedient to the word of God. If you haven’t given your life to Jesus, I know from experience how much love He has for you, what are you waiting for? Let Jesus fill you with His love and give you a fresh start, forgiveness from all your past failures and He will heal you from the hurts and pain life brings. He will be with you from this day forward all you need to do is call out to Him, He is waiting.
