For a couple of years people knew us as Light House a praise and worship band. We started to write our own music and our name just didnt fit our style. So we decided 3rd Generation for a couple of reasons #1. we (the band members) are all the 3rd generation of the family and #2. we think it sounds cool. :) So it is 3rd.Generation. 3.G. is a family band from Rochester, NY. We've been playing together now for about 5yrs. But before then we all played different instruments. Eric used to play the drums like a mad man on speed, Ben was a very good trumpet player, Mandi was and still is a very, very good singer, and Alex used to play the guitar. God spoke to us many times about forming a band. We tried it out and the outcome was great. God was blessing those who heard us play. So whenever we get the chance to spread the good news we are there. God has always been good to us right now we are in the studio recording our very first album. Hopefully we can get done with it soon. ~God Bless~
